I ordered a few of the books rated five stars, and this one is the first I read. Ok, this was a fun quick read right until I DNF-d as the whole thing was a bit too harebrained for my liking. He cofounded and currently oversees the daily operation of Professionals Against Confidence Crime. This isn't a manual on how to become a made man or grifter but a guide on the time tested methods of both. This book is very entertaining and keeps you reading to learn more about what happened. The best way to do that, is to educate oneself on the methods and tools of the trade. I agree with another review I read about this book, it is like the movie Catch Me If You Can. Numerous people claim they went to the library and read the microfilms...really? Being a retired con this book really didn't teach me anything that I didn't already know except maybe on how to sell a dog using a persons greed, this has me thinking what else I can use other then a dog to use to sell on the greed factor. This story is just as enjoyable as that movie. If I wanted to be derisive about this book, I could call it "Female Catch Me If You Can", and be done with it. There is life in each word; beginning from the first page that you keep forgetting this book is not fiction, but a true-life story. Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2016. It was written by ex-law enforcement and as a result it should have been called something like "Chastising you into being honest". Pathetic. I am curious if she ever served jail time for any of the crimes mentioned in the book.
