This document aims to serve as introduction to those interested in learning about how debates work at the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC), commonly simply referred to as the World Schools format. 2019 2018 2017 2016 2015 2014 2013 2012; 2019 Athens EUDC EUDC Motions 2020 Astana EUDC. The motions for all other rounds of WSDC 2015 (preliminary rounds 4, 6, 7 and 8, the octo-finals, quarter-finals and semi-finals) will be impromptu rounds for which the motion will be released only one hour before each debate begins. (Under the WSDC Rules, the draw and sides must be confirmed at least 2 weeks before the date of the first preliminary round.)
