You could stick with the 24 and get your rest compressed to very short intervals and maybe then one would be strong enough to really incorporate the 32. I'm much more worried about the jump from 32 to 40, that one could take years. The Rite of Passage from ETK will produce some bulking in the arms (delts in particular) from the presses, while leaning you up through the swings/snatches which are a higher rep exercise.
